Do you love building Legos but can’t seem to find the build for a 1967 Ford Mustang Shelby GT-500 (Eleanor) without spending money on buying one?

Well then my friend you are in luck!

I took the time to go through and create an MOC (my own creation) build for this classic muscle car from the popular movie Gone In 60 Seconds so you can make your own Lego model that looks like this classic car as well.

All for 100% no charge!

Lego MOC Shelby GT500

As seen above this MOC Lego build will challenge you with its intricate details while also exciting you that you get to build and own this one of a kind Lego set from scratch. This Lego build is not an easy one to do since there are over 1,333 pieces in total to complete it.

Completed, this custom Lego Shelby GT-500 MOC build is approximate 6 inches wide, 14 inches long and 4 1/2 inches high.

So this build isn’t for a younger child but would be perfect for a teen or adult. Check out the real version of this Ford muscle car below!

What’s Included In This Free Lego 1967 Ford Mustang Shelby GT-500 (Eleanor) Download?

If I just gave you the instructions or a parts list that would be pretty good but finding the parts would be quite difficult. But that’s not all I included for free in this download.

Included are:

  • 520 pages of instructions in a PDF
  • An entire parts list  for the Lego build
  • A downloadable .IO file which you can upload to store like Bricklink to purchase the pieces

PDF Instructions For The Lego Build

First of all let’s take a look at the PDF that is included with this free Lego Build download.

This PDF contains step by step instructions on how to build this Lego model from scratch. It shows you which parts you need, which Lego bricks go where, and how to assemble them piece by piece

Below is an image of what the build will look like when you have completely built it but that is far from the only image in the PDF.

Each page (520 total) shows you exactly which Lego bricks you are combining for each part of the build and then where those built sections of your Legos go too. It is a complete step by step tutorial on how to build this Lego model.

In the image below you can see exactly how detailed the instructions are that are included in this free Lego build download.

Complete List Of Lego Parts Needed For The Build

The second thing that is included in this download is a complete parts list. If you have tons of Lego parts already then you can use this list to easily find them and then use what parts that you already have to save some money.

This part’s list makes it easy for you to find and use the correct parts that you need for this build.

A .IO File That You Can Use To Easily Order The Lego Parts

The last (and probably most important) thing that this download contains is a .io file. If you are new to Lego builds then that is the file that you can upload to sites like Bricklink to order all of the parts that you need to build it.

With this file you can easily go to Bricklink, upload the .io file, and then order the parts virtually automatically from them. This means you don’t have to scour the internet looking for parts one at a time either.

You simply upload the .io file to your Bricklink “wanted” section and then click to go over to the “buy” section. Bricklink even makes buying them incredibly easy as once the .io file is uploaded you can also click on the “easy buy” button on your want list and Bricklink will find all of the Lego pieces that you need for the build (and the quantity that you need) and all you have to do is click and buy them!

How Much Does The Lego 1967 Ford Mustang Shelby GT-500 (Eleanor) Cost To Build?

So you are getting the plans and the part’s list for 100% free today as I am giving them away. However, you do have to buy all of the Lego parts for this MOC build so you can create this one of a kind Lego set.

But how much does it cost to buy all the Lego parts?

At the time of this writing to get all 1,333 Lego pieces to build your own 1967 Ford Mustang Shelby GT-500 (Eleanor) out of Lego bricks the cost is $123.87 on Bricklink. Of course that price can change as people change the prices that they charge for the pieces. It could also go up or down depending on where you purchase the pieces from.

Sometimes you can get lucky and find Lego pieces for far cheaper on one of the Lego parts websites than on another. Plus prices can fluctuate greatly over time.

Another thing to keep in mind is how much a regular Lego build of this size will cost you. A similar sized Lego model (the James Bond Aston Martin D85) which has 1,295 pieces retails for between $200 and $300! So being able to get this build with parts and full instructions for under $125 actually is a pretty good bargain.

Plus with a build like this you can easily follow the instructions on a larger screen like a tablet, laptop, or even TV since it is in PDF format. That will make reading and following the instructions quite a bit easier than the smaller instructions that come with a regular Lego build.

Free Download of Parts List & PDF Instructions

So without further ado… let’s get to the download. Below are the files for both the PDF instruction downloads as well as the .io file so you can easily order the parts for this build.

There are no limits on who can download them. No requirements for you to enter your email or anything like that.

This is a 100% free download of a Lego build for a 1967 Ford Mustang Shelby GT-500 (Eleanor).

Final Thoughts

I hope that this article, build information, and free download of the instructions and part list has been helpful to you. Keep an eye out as I plan to do many more custom MOC builds like this on the site over the next few weeks and months so be sure and check back often.

All of those will be 100% free as well including the instructions and the part lists. Best of luck with your new Lego build!
